This is basically a collection of remixed tracks from the album 'Wide Open Future'. Unfortunately from a DJ point of view, this CD is disappointing due to a lack of clubby rhythms. You would expect a remix CD to contain at least one killer trance, d'n'b or garage track, but it just doesn't happen. 'Heaven & Earth' almost makes it, but is a little quirky. Most tracks are difficult to pigeonhole, though there are some nice drum'n'bass influences and some chilling ambient grooves (reminiscent of the Virus albums from N-Soul Records). These then, are alternative mixes rather than dance mixes of the original tunes, providing fatter rhythms and extended musical soundscapes of the same songs. Both spiritual and inventive, this offering is worth investigating, but first check out 'Wide Open Future'.
