Ben is the director of worship at Soul Survivor and has been at the forefront of worship music writing songs such as "Love Came Down" and "You Are" as well as co-writing with Tim Hughes "Happy Day", making him a well-known name in such circles. This seven-song mini-album is the Canadian's fifth release and almost from the first note you know you are listening to an accomplished writer who speaks to a modern audience. "Here And Now" is a case in point . . . engaging dance backing, soaring vocals and straight down the line catchy worship lyrics. "Not By Might (By My Spirit)" could be described as being a little predictable, but that would be missing the point of the worship style of Ben's song writing, here highlighting strength in times of hardship. "Mightier" explores this theme further exalting "You are stronger than the wildest storm." Production throughout is top drawer, just avoiding overpowering. All things said, this is an outstanding return after a pause in releases, and should highlight once again the talent that Ben is.
