Self-described "thick, white, boy rapper," Benjimin slips out this cheeky debut. Suitably appearing on the BEC/Uprok label, for a not so unique blend of angst-ridden, commercial rock with hip-hop breaks, Benji throws lyrics around as if it's all his life depends on. Serious and hard hitting, listening to the 10 tracks feels like stumbling around a dark ally in the dead of night. And that's just the music. If you like the sound of loud, aggressive street rap and still haven't got over Mum chucking out the electric guitar, then this is for you. Oh, another wonderful feature: no annoying introductions or interludes. Not so thick, Benji man.
