This latest release, recorded at the Bethel Woman's Conference, features two very well known worship leaders in Kari Jobe and Jenn Johnson, the talented and underrated Kristene DiMarco (see the Cross Rhythms article) and some lesser known worshippers in Amanda Cook, Steffany Frizzell Gretzinger and Leah Valenzuela. The general theme throughout is relying on God's strength to be brave every day. The tone of the album is more worship than praise - the title track is a rare moment of lively praise. There are also a few moments where the disc lets down repeated listening, for example the excellent "Forever" has over a minute of talking at the start before the song starts while "Joy Of The Lord" is mainly spontaneous worship. Both no doubt were appropriate at the event but don't work so well on CD. But there is still much here overflowing with honesty and emotion with "We Dance" being a standout. Sadly neither that track nor "I Belong To You" are on the DVD which accompanies the CD. Overall, there is no getting away from the uplifting standard of songs here, and this collection will only help cement the Reading, California church's position at the forefront of modern worship.
