Sometimes you hear the best that America's Christian music scene can produce and realise that it is every bit as good and often better than the current wave of mainstream popsters. Georgia-born Branan has a bit of Michael Jackson in his high-voiced styling while the rhythm track on the hook of the song has more punch than a heavyweight contender. The lyric "I made a mess/Now I'm coming home/I shoulda never left/Now I'm coming home" says all it needs to. Simple, yes. But just the kind of message those who've strayed away from the Lord's embrace need to hear.
