Anyone who has spent any time leafing through the pages of praise and worship songbooks will know that Brian Doerksen is one of the premier composers of contemporary worship music. Down the years this hugely gifted Canadian has written a veritable sheaf of worship classics (and in fact this album includes a re-recording of one of them - "Light The Fire Again"). This album contains plenty of new gems. His version of the Lord's Prayer, "Our Father In Heaven", is a delight; "He Is Here" (a duet with the deliciously-voiced Christine Dente) kept me reaching for the repeat button and "I Don't Hear Anything But You" (featuring David Kahipo) is another top quality song. But possibly the most breathtaking of all the recordings here is the title track, where Doerksen is joined by a goose-bump inducing boys choir who give the song an extraordinary other-worldly feel. The production by Philip Janz makes lavish use of strings and is quite classically orientated while the theme running through the whole album - God's extraordinary holiness - is loving explored. Another worship gem from the always reliable veteran.
