'Pursuing God' is a compilation of tracks originally released on three albums by American CCM singer Fuller with one new track recorded this year, "How You Love Me". This is generally a pleasant set, especially if one enjoys Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W Smith, etc. Brian's voice has a Neil Sedaka-like quality that works on some tracks but not so well on others. The inclusion of Stevie Wonder's 1973 hit, "Higher Ground" is a surprising addition, but well performed. It seems Brian has not released anything since 'Bare My Soul' in 2000; so this may be of interest to his '90's fans as they might like to be reminded of his three releases from that time. I liked the upbeat track "The End Of The Beginning" with "How You Love Me" being for me the best song on the album. The musicianship is of a good standard, the production values reasonable and as a 'Christian Pop' album it is enjoyable, if a tad dated.

I recently purchased this album from Brian himself at "The Vine" & really enjoyed the cd with my favorite being "If ever there was a time"
