One of Cross Rhythms favourite rock teams, in years past the band have taken in hard as diamond metal, lazy blues rock and hook-driven AOR. This album, their first for their new record company, takes in everything they've done previously but brings us into some startling new territory as well. "You Never Knew Me" has a Doors feel and is wonderfully effecting while "Life Is The Blues" has a mandolin driving through it. The idea of 'Bride go roots' might appal Cross Rhythms metal heads, but give 'Drop' a chance lads, there's some wonderful musicianship, great hooks and Dale Thompson is still one of the most effecting singers in Christian rock.
