Can anyone hear me? I think I've gone deaf... This is loud, heavy and noisy. I hear bits of various bands (Aerosmith, Metallica, Guns 'N' Roses), Dale Thomson should change his name to Axel... Seven years ago they were almost thrash and this pops up on tracks such as "Murder", "Dadmom", "Time" and about four others. "Place" is funky with a great message: "What if you see Jesus on judgment day/Do you think you'll get a second chance...What if...there's a place call hell." Play it to unsaved friends. Which brings me to my one gripe. The lyrics are good, but sometimes I got really lost - things get confusing and hazy on a couple of songs. "Scarecrow" has an explanation - the rest don't. I wish they did, especially "Murder", "Crazy" (chorus) and "Thorns". Subjects covered include broken families, homelessness, God's reliability and Jesus as protector. Watch out for a great Ox Fox solo and some questions. Gripe aside the boys keep on getting better.
