Another near perfect pop offering brimming with positivity from the CCM hitmaker. Despite the title, 'Gold' isn't a compilation of past hits but the singer/songwriter from North Carolina's latest. If Brit is new to your ears, then imagine the pop sensibilities of a young Kylie or Girls Aloud, and add the vocal versatility of Jessie J. She can do sensitive songs about life's struggles such as "Stand" with poise and gumption, as well as delivering the disco floor fillers like "Amazing Life" with style and vivacity. Britt actually co-wrote most of the included songs, which include a personal tale of God's faithfulness in "All This Time" and a description of the journey to getting to know God in "Who You Say You Are". The style and content of many songs here would certainly appeal to teen and pre-teen girls, but there's also a maturity and quality that can be appreciated by their parents and older pop music fans. The music production is almost impossible to criticise, with powerful beats, potent bass lines and tasteful use of a huge range of synth sounds and effects. There's even some good humour in the production, such as all the beeps, scratches and vocal effects in "Breakthrough". This is faith filled pop bringing a bright hope and an infectious youthful smile to everyone.

The first single, All This Time, is Britt's salvation story in song form and is already making a splash at radio.
