According to his publicity sheet, Phoenix-based Bryant has been a singer, songwriter and producer for 20 years and worked with such acts as Stevie Wonder and Tina Turner. 'Leap Of Faith' is a definite reflection of Bryant's testimony, reflecting on his experiences and seeking to bring God's love to others through his music. The songs offered on this album are definitely catchy in their tune, notably "J.E.S.U.S.O.S" and "Leap Of Faith". Some are more reflective in nature and can arguably be appreciated by a wider listener base, notably Bryant's run through of the oldies "Precious Lord/Amazing Grace". Despite some confusion over track numbering on the album and the obvious home-made look to its sleeve Bryant offers photos of himself from the '70s to present day. Unfortunately his style seems to be very much stuck in the '70s. If this is your preferred style you will definitely appreciate this album and his approach to evangelism, even if the very prominent midi effects make the album sound cheaply produced.
