A reissue of the Chapel Lane originally put out in 1983, this brings in another element, a sassy horn section into the turbulent musical brew of searing blues guitar and socking backbeat. Again, there are songs here that Bryn still gigs and the album rocks like an R&B houseparty. Down the years many artists have tried to integrate a blues feel into contemporary CCM but none has done it more deftly than the British veteran.
