This was recorded at Martin Barre's (Jethro Tull) Presshouse studio in Devon. Thankfully, the sound is not Jethro Tull. It's folksy, breezy and has smatterings of indie pop. It's got that Mother Earth feel about it. This is the style of music which would go down a bundle at a Celtic festival. Eden Burning are among their supporters, so you get the picture. I have a thing about flutes (I need prayer) so I was dead chuffed when one crept into "Hanging To Her Heels". Fact: the tape duplication was done by Sounds Good in Reading who have worked with Oasis (we're not worthy!!). And, er, yes, it does sound quite good. (Is it a coincidence that there are Oasis-type guitars a-strumming in the background?) I have a problem though. Spiritually it's a bit wishy-washy. In the ethereal "Silence", the words "He's not only in the sky" seem a bit, well, spiritual as opposed to Christian. I have a feeling I would need to go deeper in order to decipher the lyrical code. As it is I felt I needed to listen to it wearing an ethnic tunic and crinkle skirt.
