This album offers a snapshot of time (although edited with plenty of fades) of a live concert at Christ Universal Temple in Chicago recorded on 13th August 2011. You know from note one that Byron means business with a beautiful, although a surprisingly gentle, opening track "Gratitude" with vocalist Mumen Ngengue at the helm. Other outstanding tracks are "Victory" featuring Fred Hammond with its enjoyable calypso-style backing; the anthem-like "Great And Mighty"; the foot-tapping songs "Throne" and "Troubles Away"; and the uplifting "Mighty One". The flow of the album stumbles a little when half way through the recording Pastor Charles Jenkins shares a few words (around two and half minutes), a difficult listen on a music album after you have listened a few times. However putting this aside, there is no getting away from the sheer talent present here not only from Byron and the musicians but the quality of production (Aaron Lindsey - who also wrote "Victory" on the album) on display here. This is how it is done!
