This five-song EP was recorded in a church hall in a couple of days using a couple of microphones and mixed in bass guitarist Trev's bedroom. All this considered the end results are surprisingly good. Sensitive emo might not be what you expect from Cain's Mark, but after the blood and thunder of "Blinded" comes the fan favourite "silhouette" which shows up a much softer side of the band. "Each Edge" is an amalgam of the two, while "On Friendship" is the calm before the heads-down sprint to the finish that is the title track. Cain's Mark hope to be on the road soon and although the low budget of this recording is clear, I'd imagine they'd be awesome live. (They are. Ed).
