This live concert is now available on DVD as well as CD, featuring 14 tracks: some from the Canton's historic back catalogue, some more recent. In between, there are short excerpts from interviews with the band where they explain the stories behind the songs and the rich heritage of the group. Tellingly, they freely admit that their predecessors were better singers, even though not so successful! The current Cantons are joined by a solid (though not particularly dynamic) band and choir, who seem to take awhile to warm up and look at ease. But once they hit "Clean Up" and "Glad I've Got Jesus", they're on a roll until they wrap it up an hour or so later. The stars of the show really are the songs. They may mostly be on the slow side, but they're all memorable and meaningful. Drawing influences from soul and blues as well as the classic '50s gospel quartets, the Cantons skilfully communicate to the audience the life changing messages of salvation with "Cool Change" having the arresting lyric "There's no doubt in my mind that the angels have signed my name." "God Loves You" is the closing song, which obviously ministers deeply to those at the concert and can still do the same via the TV today.
