This CD is produced by a new distributor, Shelter Entertainment, and Carl is their debut artist. The notes say, "The purpose of this recording is to create an opportunity for God's people to worship him and to allow the impact of this event to reach far into the world." Apart from four songs, the material is all original. The style is middle of the road worship in the same vein as the Hosanna Music series with a rock/gospel feel to it. The playing, singing and production are sound enough, and there's a feel of energy from the live performance. For me the standout tracks were "Give A Little Listen" and "Redeemer" -both quieter ballads with a tune that was easy to pick up without being boring. "One Name" had a real sense of power to it and drew you into the live worship. On the down side I found the American accent on some of the solo vocals grated on my ears, but on the whole, the more I listened to it, the more I liked it.
