Cathy's yet another of the little known but fine quality band of artists involved with Y.W.A.M Amsterdam. Her album starts with a fine song "I Choose To Trust" written by Cathy and fellow YWAM-er Mary Ellen Armbruster-it's a great song of faith to brighten up dark, difficult days. Cathy's voice is strong and forceful, plenty of attack and drive. Next up is Nelson & McHug's superb composition "People Need The Lord" sung with compassion and flair. Cathy has chosen an exceptionally strong selection of songs, including Melodie Tunney's "Undivided" (the First Call hit), and songs by Bob Fitts and Billy Sprague. Many are ballad style, which Cathy stamps her authority on, and extracts the full meaning from each song, achieving maximum impact. The set continually emphasises the dual privileges of worship and service, and manages to challenge and entertain at the same time - not always an easy balance. Instrumentation is delicate and restrained, effectively showcasing a mature, clear voice singing to glorify the Lord. This tape can truly be called 'ministry in music', and communicates very acceptably.

I am trying to get in contact with Mary Ellen Armbruster, do
you have any idea on how to reach her? I am a missionary to
Greece and heard her songs many years ago through mutual
Swedish friend Anna.
