Cathy Gibbs - now Cathy Silmon after her marriage - is a very talented artist and she gets the support she deserves from versatile accompanist Julian Wiggins (it takes a top class musician to make the soprano sax sound as good as he does) and the rest of the team. The lyrics of these new, intimate songs about the relationship between God and the soul are refreshingly honest and direct (surely born of experience), the arrangements imaginative, the performances both accomplished and committed and the recorded sound excellent. If there is a criticism, it is that the songs themselves, moving though they are, do not have the kind of top draw melodic interest to really connect with the soul. But well worth checking out.

I've have this album many times and it is so amazing that I
always gave away just about every copy I ever owned. I
would truely love to get another copy. Has it been released
again and how can I get it again.

Margaret, I have only just read this review, I had no idea
that Cross Rhythms had ever heard my tape let alone reviewed
it.
Unfortunately, when we left Elim Way that was the end of
Breath of Life as it was, I have a few copies somewhere - if
you are able to act on my permission (I don't know how
strict copywrite is) feel free to make copies.
