A Christmas musical "written for children of all ages" and with a songbook also available, intended to be performed by church groups and schools. The vocals here are provided by the children from Broadmead Baptist Church and the 11 tracks (some quite short) take us through the nativity story with titles like "The Angels Song", "The Journey" and "The Wise Men's Song". Nici Jones (Mary) and Anthony Bassey (Joseph) don't have the strongest of voices and most of the accompaniments are John Bowman at the piano (which rather cuts down on the appeal of the backing tracks offered here) but Cathy's music is melodic and attractive and the kids seem to enjoy singing her songs. Your Sunday School might want to investigate this for next year's festivities.
