This five-track EP actually topped Britain's Official Christian and Gospel Chart, which demonstrates the influence of Edinburgh's biggest church, which was formerly called Morningside Baptist Church. The project kicks off in repentant fashion with the dance-tinged stomper "Cleanse Me", which sees singer Jonathan Dean and a talented band do their best Coldplay impersonation before Zak and Lyndsey Robb continue in the same vein with the self-explanatory "Repentance". Elsewhere, Liv Comley gives a heartfelt vocal performance in the Hillsong-like "Face To Face" whilst the aforementioned Dean's title track has all the hallmarks of a good Matt Redman song. The piano and string-led "Peace" is perhaps the most original track in this undeniably God-focused and musically accomplished outing but it would be great to see this gifted bunch take a more individualistic approach to their work going forward.
