If you've already had enough of Wizard and Slade (and I know I have, even in November). So what are you going to do? Why not try this collection from a classically trained guitarist based in Kansas? Christmassy songs done on various combinations of guitars, mostly acoustic and in a variety of styles (Latin, classical, country). They are played well, dare I say crafted, and recorded well. And we are not just talking your favourite Christmas hymns, oh no, we have "Jingle Bells" and a few other songs that won't please everyone. Having said that, what I like about this collection was that in amongst the care to get a nice sound there was a degree of fun and pure enjoyment of music that made the whole thing go with a swing.
