This was quite a surprise to me as with a new album of classic songs 'Under Blue Skies' just released, I was not expecting a new single where two of the three tracks are brand new songs from Charlie. The "A" side is a catchy, up tempo number which bears a lot of repeat hearings and hopefully will do very well for him in the singles market. The second track is a cover of John Prine's "Speed Of The Sound Of Loneliness" which Charlie handles well and which I think is from the new album. The last track "Some Mother's Son" is all about drug addiction and is a very moving, meaningful song.
