Music of timeless beauty and awe-inspiring purity. The superb music of Di Lasso, Schubert, Purcell and other sharp characters, performed on location at Trinity College Chapel by one of the UK's most sophisticated choirs. So much of the world's, and let's face it, music's frantic log jam melts away under the incredible impact of, as just one example, Italian composer Gregorio Allegri's "Miserere Mei", an interpretation of Psalm 51. Orlando Di Lasso's "Popule Meus", incorporating Scriptures from Micah and Jeremiah, also soars to peaks of inexpressible perfection. Then of course, Henry Purcells; "Hear My Prayer" also receives treatment of exquisite beauty. I could probably rattle off half-a-Cross Rhythms-worth of adjectives to attempt description of this art form. I'll sign off though by saying that this is a compulsory purchase whatever your usual musical preference. A giant amongst choral recordings.

My absolute favorite album ever. Ethereal, holy, peaceful... music for the soul.
Have been fruitlessly trying to get another copy since mine was stolen...
