This 2008 release is the first recording by a singer/songwriter from Erith, Kent and considering it was cut under the stairs of his home it's not too bad. But then, it's not too good. He's decided to put a lot of reverb on the vocals and place them back on the track which makes them sound disembodied. Also, acoustic guitar and drum machine over a whole album is a dull sound. There are some good melodies here, the opener "Dear Lord" and the ballad "The Greatest" stand out. But, in truth, this is a primitive demo that should have been kept away from Joe Public.
