Joining the small but high profile 'bilingual Christian artists group', which includes such names as Crystal Lewis and Jaci Velasquez, this is Christine's first English album (also released in her native tongue Spanish), and is set to introduce the worship leader to a much wider audience. The first things that hits you from track one ("Reign") is the sharp production presented here courtesy of Ryan Dunham (Don Moen); the other is Christine's radio friendly voice. Track two "Magnified" reminded me of early Amy Grant in its simple, heartfelt worship style. Other outstanding moments amongst the self-penned and worship covers include "Pursuit" for its sheer beauty and intimacy and "Faithfulness" for its radio friendly presentation. Here is one of the duets on the album, superbly partnered by Anthony Skinner (sounding a little like Chris Rea in places!). The track even manages to include parts of "Great Is Thy faithfulness". The other duet is with Leslie Jordan (All Sons & Daughters) on the beautifully simple "Anchor". This is the main style of the majority of the album but there are the more energetic tracks such as "Arise" to get the feet moving! This is an outstanding album and should help present Christine's music to a new audience.
