A spoken word CD set of the biography by Steve Turner with a sharp eye for detail and a keen sense of order of priorities, and read by Paul Gambaccini. Nearly two and a half hours of absorbing detail, often approached from sharp angles, this is a totally absorbing session for everyone fascinated by Cliff's extraordinary impact, both as an artist and as a person. Here's a full history of the man and his music, plus a brief, valuable interview and a booklet covering the complete discography. Surely a must for Cross Rhythms readers looking for something a bit different for the Christmas shopping list.
