The band, pioneers in the sanctified dance scene, have now moved more into a pop rock mould while still retaining all their rhythmic sensibilities. Standouts are "Hurricane" with a sublime section where an operatic lady suddenly gives out over the crunching riffs and "Voice Of Reason". As usual, the rather colourless vocals don't quite match the inventiveness of the rhythms but this is still a satisfying marriage of pop, rock and dance.
