An interesting folk-ish singer/songwriter who clearly has a lot to say with songs of consummate literacy and a nice mix of secular and sacred, with one or two tradiĀtional reels thrown in. As a guitarist Colin is very good, as a singer he's adequate but as an album producer he's awful. The recording quality is dire and most of the vocal tracks are woefully undermixed. So maybe we'd better wait for his next one. For definitely this man could make something good
