The brothers who make up the Southern rock trio were brought up in a church family. They formed a band and released four independent albums. It was producer Scottie Wilbanks cruising YouTube who saw a video and was so impressed by it that he contacted the group. Now they've been signed to Inpop and the single "Lean On Me" (here the opening track on the album), became a Top 30 Christian radio hit in the US. This track typifies what you can expect from Joshua, Jordan and Caleb, infectious pop rock not too dissimilar to Third Day but with some twists including some harmonies which you could almost call Mumford style. They also demonstrate an honest and gritty approach to songwriting. Apart from their CCM hit, other standouts on 'Giving Over' are the almost acoustic "Hold The Rain" and the encouraging anthem "You And Me". The kind of album which grows on you with each play and there's little doubt in my mind these Southern rockers will be around for the long haul.
