The problem with institutions is that we eventually take them for granted. The musical missionaries that go by the name of the Continental Singers have been going for so many years, charging their personnel with every album but keeping Cam Florida's vision of youth choir wholesomeness and bold evangelistic proclamation intact. Cam has tried hard to update their sound on this set and there's plenty of rich synth sequences and thudding Fairlight programming while the songs, mainly tried-and-tested stuff from the pens of Wayne Watson, Bill Gaither, Babbie Mason etc. is OK if you like classy MOR-pop style with inspiring lyrics. For Continental's supporters, a good enough album.
