These recordings date from 1987 and are very much in the middle of the road country market. Many of the tracks are very familiar "One Day At A Time", "Amazing Grace", "Sweet Hour Of Prayer", etc. The surprise items are Cristy's version of "Ave Maria" and the two spoken word tracks "Footprints In The Sand" and "The Lord's Prayer". There is nothing you could not enjoy from Cristy's very pleasant singing, but herein lies the problem, most of the songs are very familiar, but she is not an artist who generates for me a lot of excitement. It is all rather sweet sounding and pleasant. Okay for driving in the car but not something to induce too many purchases.
