A sentimental album reflecting the American 1980s view of Christmas with the mellow and soothing voice of Cristy roving through such over-recorded oldies as "White Christmas" and "Silver Bells", lesser known songs like "Shake Me I Rattle" and evergreen carols like "O Little Town Of Bethlehem", "Silent Night" and "The First Noel". If you like the ambient, sickly romantic lullaby supermarket style of Christmas songs you'll like this one but in truth this is largely MOR country of the most stilted and predictable kind.
