Cristy is a prolific recording artist - she has over 20 other albums to her credit and once enjoyed gigantic sales with a TV advertised album 'One Day At A Time'. But though Ms Lane has a pleasant enough country-tinged voice and the arrangements on this album are adequate, her readings of evergreens like "Wings Of A Dove", "Precious Memories" and "Try A Little Kindness" are utterly unimaginative. No doubt there is still some kind of audience for hymns and inspirational songs performed in such a reverential way but in truth it would be easy to find better recordings than Cristy's of any of the religious oldies she sings.
