A German nu-metal band who are festival favourites in their homeland. Okay, so it will not win any marks for originality, nor is it very technical. But it is really rather catchy. This is shown best on such tracks as "Set Me Free" and "Ready For Take Off". In amongst these are one or two slower numbers which break up the frantic pace quite nicely. The vocals are a mix of singing and rap. Keyboards and strings also feature adding a little atmosphere in places. Lyrically the band demonstrates a real love for Christ all the way through and some songs are especially touching. I must question the needless use of the word "bullshit" in one of the tracks though. I understand the context in which it is said but surely a better expression could have been used. Other than that one blemish though, there is no faulting the lyrics. The only problem with this release is that it simply follows the rather tired nu-metal formula with nothing to elevate it above the pack. This album just fails to deliver that extra something which could have made it so much better.
