Their previous album was slicker, but on 'The Bottom Line' this young team, led by vocalist Adam Lee Kemp, clock in with a rawer, tougher sound. The problem is much of the material and approaches are outdated, sounding like a 1986 metal band rather than a 1991 one. There is a rather appealing ballad "No Boundaries" wedged in between all that hard rocking and riff-ing. But soon we're back to over-predictable retreads

hey, Crystavox is an AWESOME God loving/fearing band! I know the bass player from this album personally, he is now a youth pastor in Colorado. He is pretty cool, with a cool family too.

Yep, in 2006, "no boundaries" is still a great, great tune. Cool words and great vocals. Love that middle part. Anyone else ever thought it was cool how Adam encourages diabetics in his thankyou notes. That took alot of guts. great music.

Please, would anyone tell me how can I get Crystavox's lyrics? Thanks!

Ahh I just found this album the other day. Amazing! The summer of '93 I listened to this on the way to youth camp over and over again. Through "No Boundries" God touched my heart and I accepted Christ. I attended Seminary and I am now an Associate Pastor at a church in Las Vegas, NV. This band was it!!!! Bottom Line!!!! Thanks for being obedient to Him to lead you into this project. Maybe you'll have another someday. Blessings to you all....

Jarrell,

I am very good friends with the guys in the band too. Loren was actually the guitarist. Fred was the drummer. Lorens church is awesome and I miss attending it since moving out of California!

Hey I am really close to Adam kemp who was lead singer for Crystavox, he is now a dad and husband and sings on his church's praise team. Loren Holmquist who was the drummer is the assistant pastor to the church as well.

I've been trying to find someone who may know Adam Kemp. I'd love to visit his church. I am such a fan of "The Bottom Line." Would you be able to tell me the name of the church?
