DJ Sean Blu aka The $ix Million Dollar Man, from Augusta, Georgia presents another mixtape, this time from Lu-I (Living Under the Influence) from Orlando, Florida. The aim of the project is to introduce Lu-I with his fiery and witty way of sharing the Gospel truth, with production by Triumfant Beatz and others, with appearances by Konviction, Astro and Larry BirthRight. This project is meant to remind us that we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to die to our flesh daily and walk in victory in every aspect of our lives. . . but first, we have to get regenerated! This mainly dirty south (but not entirely) project spits love for God and our need for him - introducing the antidote, Christ. As with any mixtape this is laced with promos, shouts out from DJ Sean Blu. There's some aggressive rhyming, "I See The Son" being a standout track with a pretty constant flow. The project is tastily bass heavy at times with lacings of tracks with a contemporary edge and different MC flows and production - "Have Mercy On Me" compared to "Salvation" for example. The mixtape ends very strongly with the standout "Arrow" - a powerful testimony and encouragement to every brother and sister that Christ has a purpose for our life - to live our lives as an arrow for him. Finally we kick into the jump-up, timely yet witty party hidden track - "If you know you love Jesus. then go dance."
