Although this is her first solo release, Da'dra has had a lifetime in the Christian music business and will be known to many for the groundbreaking work she did when part of Anointed. Originally from Ohio, Da'dra is now part of the huge worship team at Lakewood Church, Houston. All eight tracks on this mini-album, produced by Aaron Lindsay, feature a sophisticated production which complements Da'dra's soulful vocals. The songs are not short and have time to expand into new ideas, harmonically exciting middle eights, arresting a cappella sections and catchy instrumental riffs. My favourite is probably "In Jesus' Name" with its feel-good rhythm and the wonderfully assured backing vocals, moving us confidently through the song's stages. "Free To Worship" is a beautiful slower piano-led ballad and "Hallelujah" is a simpler song about which Da'dra said, "It's a song I wrote so that anyone could catch on and sing it."
