It must be beyond the wildest dreams of many Christians in this country to get gospel into the charts. Following up his Christmas video of last year, this is fully-fledged gospel, no holds barred. Subtitled 'Live From The Point', it is recorded in front of a sell-out audience in Dublin. With a Children's choir, and some black gospel singers, it is very much more a general easy listening video than solid country, indeed it is recorded with an orchestra and none of Daniel's fine band of backing musicians are very visible. The songs are a real mix of the old and the new, with several outstanding songs from Daniel's two best selling gospel albums. Daniel joins in with the choir for "By The Rivers Of Babylon" then it's the Kris Kristofferson classic "Why Me Lord". After a medley the delightful Mary Duff appears for the fantastic duet version of "Whispering Hope", followed by the country gospel classic "Will The Circle Be Unbroken". Mary then does a splendid version of "Amazing Grace" followed by the old song "He's Got The Whole World In His Hands". Daniel then does his superb version of "In The Garden" before launching into the Hank Williams' country classic "I Saw The Light". Daniel's favourite Christmas carol "Silent Night" rounds off the very best gospel music video I have ever seen!
