Not to be treated as a criticism, but it's so easy to think this is a various artists' compilation due to the different styles touched by the popular American, though lyrically it's upfront gospel. "Totally Sold Out" is a funk-rocker, capable of rocking any dancefloor. The title track's an even more raucous, heavy rock-styled cut. Haddon engagingly exhorts, "We must go back to God" on the funky, rap-laced "Double Team". "Say You Believe" is an uplifting, soulful ballad with a sweet, duetting female singer. "Walking Dead" rather imitates Michael Jackson's "Thriller", particularly in its gory introduction. The funky dancefloor shaker nevertheless which is saying something uplifting. "God's Children" is a beautifully sung mid-tempo ballad, which ropes in a few kids to handle some of the lead vocals. "He Never Fails" is a Maxi Priest-sounding reggae gem. The talk-box vocal and those funk grooves make this choir-featured track that will work any R & B or funk dancefloor. It ends on some lively, churchy kind of songs. Most enjoyable.
