A sparkling debut album from Bristol thrash team Detritus, this is every bit the equal to the stunning Seventh Angel album and shows that despite no encouragement from a bemused church, Christian moshheads are now producing some devastating music. My only quibble is the drums tend to get lost against the jagged drive of the perpetually pumping axes but maybe that will sort itself out when I get a CD copy. Lyrics have a couple of straight ahead gospel proclamations but specialise in searing indictments of social injustice. Tough one guys.
