Devin Williams is a veteran who on this release pulls back on the guitar shredding and records some of his songs with a string quartet. Not every track suits the ambitious merger of two styles but the passion with which Devin sings and the quality of his playing will keep the listener engaged. "Here for You" is the song that best suits a string arrangement and, with lyrics from the perspective of Jesus wanting us to know that he gave it all for each one of us, the track is a salient reminder of the pain that the Lord endured on our behalf. "Eraser" is a song that sings about the forgiveness Jesus brings while "Qui Per Te (Here For You)" was recorded in Italian to celebrate Devin's recently approved dual citizenship. It demonstrates that Devin is able to handle a classical guitar approach with considerable skill. Not an album with widespread appeal but few could argue that Williams demonstrates again his considerable musical skill.
