This single from Virginia-based Farris and his worship leader friend starts with warm acoustic guitar and piano before JC's gorgeous vocals come in. She is soon joined by Farris and his earthy vocals, reminiscent of Marc Cohn, and between them they lift the song to a high plane. The song doesn't yield its meaning at once but rewards repeated playing. The lyrics speak of taking first steps, searching for justice, setting captives free and the shining light of God, all skilfully blended together.
