The many fans of Eden's Bridge can be reassured, "Celtic Praise 2" - their fifth album - is a gem. In fact it is hard to find a fault with it. In the midst of the current fashion for all things Celtic, when it comes to the modern interpretation of Celtic worship these guys are the real McCoy. Their music is gentle and draws the listener into God's  presence and the production and general musicianship is impeccable but yet still manages to convey a freshness and spontaneity. The band is led by the pure and serene sounding vocals of Sarah Lacy. More Enya than Andrea Corr (giving away my reference points!), she has the perfect voice for Celtic-style music. And on the track  "Sarah's Prayer", she shows that she is pretty handy at writing and composing as well. Amongst the favourites given the Eden's Bridge treatment here are "When I Survey",Brian Doerksen's "Refiner's Fire", 'I Cannot Tell", and "Holy, Holy, Holy". This is a top class album whatever your taste in music and definitely worth considering buying.
