Here's the debut EP from this East Texas family group that was originally released back in 2003. It's strong enough for the band to have been invited over to the UK to play a sadly largely overlooked afternoon set at the V festival in 2003. From a family perspective this is The Corrs with three attractive sisters and their brother plus a mate on bass and no doubt there are already fans having crushes on the DuPres sisters! However, musically and especially vocally this really is reminiscent of Sixpence None The Richer. Top song here is the third one "Tree Tops" which has a carousel melody and catchy chorus whilst "Over The Mountains" is similarly ear-catching. Opening cut "I Wasn't Prepared" has an ethereal, slow drifting, lovely quality and again highlights the strength of the dual lead vocals. Having discovered this band in the USA, I have to admit to absolutely loving them.
