Let me encourage you to buy this CD. It's not brilliant, it won't break any records (no pun intended) regarding sales but this is what the CCM scene should encourage. Four kids from one family got together under a calling from God (of which I have no doubt) and within two weeks had put these songs together for a revival weekend in September 1997. They are all accomplished musicians, however immature vocals knocked a couple of squares off the rating (that will improve with age and experience). Don't let that put you off though, the lyrics are powerful, calling us to turn to God in worship. They are not afraid to experiment even though there are only nine tracks on the CD. I especially liked the use of the poem I'm Reluctant To Pray For Revival which asks us lo examine our motives when we do ask for revival, are we really concerned with the people we intend to bring into the Church or are we just out to bolster our own egos'. This is their first release. I sincerely hope that it is not their last.
