The debut release of a young lady singer/songwriter, all 11 tracks on this CD are her compositions, and very accomplished it all is too. Elle's voice is strong and accurate, there are good harmony vocals from Paul Mex (who also produced) and Kim Harwood, and despite the synthesised strings and brass, the programming has been done carefully, so there's no el cheapo production feel to this. The songs are free of musical and lyrical clichés, and although it's pretty conventional adult contemporary pop music, it's a good example of its genre. Elle and her pals ought to be well pleased with it.

I have a signed copy of this album. At a superficial level,
one might lump this in the middle of the road, Beverley
Craven category. But on careful listening you can hear the
fragile beauty of this singer songwriter. These are her own
compositions. She didn't have X factor type money to produce
this. It is quite beautiful. How is it that she is not
better known?
