My heart sank when this album landed on the front mat. Not another CD-sequel riding on the fashionable Toronto Blessing bandwagon. I thought of the venerable Lord Runcie and his "happy clappy" critique of Christian rave services and their ilk. Then a broad smile crossed my ageing face in complete harmony with the opening track. "I Looked Up", and saw my Lord a-coming. Whoosh, I was there, in the middle of 5.500 worshippers at the Catch The Fire Again Conference. Regal Constellation Hotel. Toronto, seeking the Lord's face, seeking his glory. "Hallelujah, he is risen." I sang. "Hallelujah, he's alive." I agreed. Then, David Ruis enjoined the passionate throng to "Take Me Home" and we had only arrived at track two. By the time we reached the valedictory eighth track. "Yahweh", my heart was afloat and even old Runcie looked 20 years younger. Go on. you'll love it.
