Elvis is a British independent artist whose been around awhile now. The song "This Day" was first released in 2006 and subsequently picked up by broadcaster Aled Jones on Radio BBC2. He commented, "Every now and then a little gem stands out for many reasons." "This Day" was written by Chaz Waldren and Luke Fitzpatrick (the latter being the singer's brother-on-law) and speaks of the freedom and love of Jesus Christ and encourages the listener that "This day you're going to be free from heartache, pain and misery/This day he'll set your spirit free/To soar into the heavenlies". Although this re-recording of the song was cut in the UK, it evidently draws its country music influence and sound from Nashville. Producer and arranger Phil Rynhart has done a good job with blending the velvet quality of Elvis Chambers' vocals and the beautiful music in order to produce a truly engaging single.
