Errol, who was previously known for his gospel reggae releases, now takes a stab at gospel without the JA riddims which touches on Kirk Franklin territory. The project was delayed for two years following personal tragedy, which resulted in Errol reassessing his faith. This collection, produced by Ainsley Johns, Paul Williams, Simeon Palmer and Jonathan Scott, features The Elim Project Choir who have worked alongside Errol for over 15 years. The album opens with two highly danceable songs "Highest Praise" and "Hold On" with their infectious disco- influenced bass-driven gospel. The pace slows considerably afterwards, but with top vocal support from the choir there are great moments such as the live recording "Carry Us To The Cross", which finishes the album, featuring lead support from Tracy Campbell whose vocals are a joy to listen to. A great listen!
